Preparation Steps
Ensure your vehicle is on a flat surface. Engage the parking brake and place wheel chocks behind the wheels that will remain on the ground. Loosen the lug nuts of the wheel where you’ll replace the spring seat, but do not fully remove them yet.
Removing the Wheel and Suspension Components
Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands. Remove the wheel completely. Locate the spring and spring seat assembly. Use the socket set to remove any bolts securing the suspension components that interfere with access to the spring seat.
