Support the vehicle safely, remove wheels, and inspect pad thickness and rotor condition. Honda often uses pin-style retainers — note orientation before removal.
Compress the caliper piston slowly to avoid fluid overflow at the master cylinder. Use Honda-approved brake grease on backing plates only, not the friction surface.
